Busan Cat Show 2026: Tickets, Parking and Booth Map

Busan Cat Show 2026 runs from September 11 through September 13 at BEXCO Exhibition Center 2, Hall 4 in Busan, South Korea. The show is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last admission at 5:30 p.m. Free advance registration ended on September 10, but visitors can still register during the event and pay KRW 5,000 at the registration desk instead of the KRW 7,000 walk-up price.
The most important detail for cat owners is easy to miss: this is a cat-products exhibition, but cats and other pets are not allowed inside. Plan to visit without your pet, save the booth map before you go, and decide whether driving or taking the subway makes more sense for the amount of shopping you expect to carry home.

BEXCO is a large convention complex, so entering the correct building matters. The cat show is not in every BEXCO hall; it is specifically in Exhibition Center 2, Hall 4. If you use a taxi or navigation app, select Exhibition Center 2 rather than simply stopping at the first BEXCO entrance.
Ticket Prices After Free Advance Registration Ends
The free-registration deadline was Thursday, September 10. From September 11 through September 13, advance registration is still available, but it no longer includes free admission.
If you register online during the event, you pay KRW 5,000 at the on-site registration desk. If you arrive without advance registration and buy admission at the venue, the price is KRW 7,000. That makes registering before you leave for BEXCO worth doing even after the free period has ended.
You can use the official Busan Cat Show advance-registration page before heading to the venue.
Visitors who registered before the free deadline were scheduled to receive an entry QR code. If you did not receive it or accidentally deleted it, the organizer says staff can verify your registration at the desk using your name and phone number. You do not need to submit a second registration just because the QR message is missing.
Can You Bring Your Cat to the Show?
No. Cats and other pets are not allowed inside the exhibition hall. The organizer lists guide dogs for visually impaired visitors as the exception.
That rule may be surprising because the event is called a “Cat Show.” In this case, the official program is centered on cat food, treats, litter, litter boxes, toys, cat furniture, grooming and care products, living supplies, accessories, art, and other cat-related goods. It is a shopping and lifestyle exhibition for cat owners, not an event where visitors bring their own cats into the hall.
This is different from some other Korean pet fairs. If you are comparing events during a Korea trip, Vtoria’s K-PET Fair Daegu 2026 guide covers a dog-friendly fair, while the MyPetFair Ilsan 2026 guide explains another event where dogs were allowed. For Busan, leave your cat comfortably at home and plan the visit around shopping rather than pet handling.
Check the Booth Map Before You Start Shopping
The organizer released the 2026 booth map before opening day. It is worth saving on your phone because the floor includes larger product booths, smaller market-style booths, a photo area, a prize area, and service zones.
On the current map, the main entrance is near the bottom center. A parcel-shipping area is toward the lower left, while the photo and prize areas are grouped toward the right side. Smaller N-zone booths fill much of the central area.
A simple route can prevent unnecessary backtracking:
- Mark the brands or product categories you care about most.
- Visit those priority booths first.
- Check nearby booths while you are already in the same aisle.
- Use the shipping area if you buy bulky litter, food, or other heavy supplies.
- Stop at the photo or prize area near the end rather than crossing the hall repeatedly.
The exhibition categories include dry and wet food, treats, supplements, litter and toilet products, scratchers, cat towers and furniture, toys, feeders and waterers, carriers, hygiene products, accessories, art, and handmade goods. If you already know what you need, shopping by category is usually faster than walking every aisle in order.
BEXCO Parking Fees for a Longer Visit
Driving is convenient if you expect to buy heavy bags of litter or large boxes, but parking can become a meaningful part of the day’s cost.
BEXCO’s current standard parking rate for small vehicles is KRW 450 per 10 minutes, with a daily maximum of KRW 15,000.
| Parking time | Standard small-vehicle cost |
|---|---|
| 1 hour | KRW 2,700 |
| 2 hours | KRW 5,400 |
| 4 hours | KRW 10,800 |
| 5 hours | KRW 13,500 |
| Daily maximum | KRW 15,000 |
If you stay five hours, the fee is already close to the daily maximum. That makes driving more attractive when you expect to carry heavy purchases, but less attractive if you plan to browse slowly and buy only small items.
BEXCO also lists discounted parking for eligible compact cars, certain low-emission vehicles, Busan residents with qualifying multi-child documentation, and vehicles used by disabled visitors or eligible national merit beneficiaries. Electric vehicles using the charging facilities can receive up to three hours free. Discounts are subject to documentation and are not combined.
Subway Access to BEXCO Exhibition Center 2
Public transportation may be simpler if you are not planning to carry large purchases.
For Exhibition Center 2, BEXCO lists two useful Line 2 options:
- Centum City Station, Exit 1: about a 380-meter walk past the auditorium.
- BEXCO (Busan Museum of Art) Station, Exit 5: about a 453-meter walk past the museum area.
Do not follow directions meant for Exhibition Center 1, because the recommended exits and walking distances differ. When you arrive in the BEXCO area, keep following signs for Exhibition Center 2 and Hall 4.
For an international visitor staying around Haeundae or central Busan, the subway also avoids having to understand local parking discounts, payment rules, and weekend traffic around a major exhibition venue.
What Is Worth Buying at a Cat Expo?
A pet expo is useful because you can compare physical details that are hard to judge online. For cat litter, that may mean particle size, dust level, bag weight, or odor-control claims. For scratchers and furniture, you can look at dimensions, materials, stability, and how much space the product will take at home. For food and treats, you can compare package sizes, ingredients, expiration dates, and event pricing.
Event discounts are not automatically the lowest available price. Before buying a large quantity, compare the actual package size and current online price. This matters especially for consumables such as litter, food, and treats, where a “special set” can look inexpensive until you calculate the amount you are actually getting.
It also helps to decide in advance what you are shopping for. A short list such as “litter, wet food, scratcher” makes it easier to compare similar products instead of being distracted by every promotion in the hall.
Is Busan Cat Show 2026 Worth Visiting This Weekend?
Busan Cat Show 2026 is most useful for cat owners who want to compare several brands in person, buy bulky everyday supplies, or see new cat products without visiting multiple stores. The event runs through Sunday, September 13, so there is still time to visit after the free-registration deadline.
Register online before leaving if you want the KRW 5,000 event-period rate, save the booth map, and choose transportation based on how much you expect to buy. If you are driving, a four- to five-hour visit can cost KRW 10,800 to KRW 13,500 in standard parking. If you are taking the subway, make sure you head to Exhibition Center 2 rather than the first BEXCO hall you see.
Most importantly, do not bring your cat. This show is designed for people to shop for their cats, not for pets to attend with them.
