K-PET Fair Suwon 2026: Tickets, Floor Plan & Parking

K-PET Fair Suwon 2026 is open at Suwon Messe from September 11 through September 13, 2026. The show runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and regular entry closes at 5:30 p.m. Free pre-registration ended on September 10, but last-minute visitors can still enter on-site.

For travelers from the United States, there is one especially useful detail: the organizer lists foreign visitors as a free-admission category. You do not need to have completed the general pre-registration to use that category, but the organizer says eligibility documents are checked at the information desk. The official page does not specify exactly which document is accepted for foreign visitors, so confirm with event staff if you are unsure.

K-PET Fair Suwon 2026 Dates, Hours, and Venue

The fair is being held for three days at Suwon Messe, an exhibition center in the Suwon Station area.

The organizer notes that admission may begin earlier than announced if the waiting-line situation requires it. If you plan to arrive late in the afternoon, I would still treat 5:30 p.m. as the latest safe target rather than planning around the 6:00 p.m. closing time.

Ticket Price: Foreign Visitors Are Listed for Free Admission

The normal on-site adult ticket is KRW 10,000 per person per day. Visitors who completed free pre-registration by September 10 can use their issued barcode, but that registration period is now closed.

The official event page also lists several groups that can enter free without general pre-registration after eligibility is checked at the information desk. These include foreign visitors, visitors age 16 and under, visitors age 66 and older, people with disabilities, national merit recipients, pet-industry workers, press, and one person holding a pet blood-donor certificate.

That means a U.S. traveler should not automatically pay the KRW 10,000 adult walk-up price before asking the information desk about the foreign-visitor category. The organizer states that supporting documentation is required, but its event page does not name a specific document for foreigners.

Can You Bring a Dog? Yes, With a Leash and ID Tag

Dogs are allowed at the Suwon event, and this is one of the K-PET Fair locations where dogs may walk inside the exhibition hall. A leash and identification tag are required, while a stroller, carrier, sling, or wagon is recommended for small dogs because the venue can become crowded.

Owners are expected to clean up immediately after marking or bathroom accidents. The organizer asks owners of unneutered pets to use a belly band or sanitary pants, requires a muzzle for aggressive pets, and advises against bringing pets that have not completed vaccinations.

A stroller can be especially useful if your dog is small, tires quickly, or becomes uncomfortable in dense foot traffic. It gives the dog a contained place to rest while you stop at booths instead of requiring continuous walking.

If you are deciding whether a stroller is worth bringing to crowded indoor outings, see my Royal Tails Florence pet stroller review.

Check the Booth Floor Plan Before You Start Shopping

The floor plan is worth studying before you enter. The posted map marks different entrance positions for Friday/Sunday and Saturday, so check the day you are visiting before choosing your starting point.

Instead of walking every aisle in order, mark two or three booths you definitely want to visit and build your route around them. The event includes products such as pet food, supplements, outdoor gear, and clothing, so similar products may appear in different areas of the hall.

A simple route works well:

  1. Find your entrance for the day.
  2. Mark your highest-priority booths.
  3. Note the cafeteria or rest areas.
  4. Visit products you want to compare early.
  5. Leave bulky purchases until later when possible.

If you are buying food, pads, or other heavy items, ask the individual booth whether storage or shipping is available rather than assuming every vendor provides it.

Parking at Suwon Messe Costs KRW 700 per 10 Minutes

Suwon Messe charges KRW 700 for each 10 minutes of parking, with a daily maximum of KRW 30,000. That equals KRW 4,200 per hour until the daily cap applies.

The venue lists 347 on-site parking spaces. On a busy pet-fair weekend, that makes public transportation worth considering even if you normally prefer to drive. If you expect to buy large bags of food or bulky pet supplies, however, a car may still be easier for getting everything home.

Suwon Messe also publishes nearby parking options, including the Suwon Station Transfer Center public parking lot. Rates and availability can change, so check the venue’s current parking information before leaving rather than relying on an older screenshot.

Taking the Train Is Often Easier

Suwon Messe is connected to the Suwon Station area. From Suwon Station, the venue directs visitors toward the Suwon Station Transfer Center. Subway Line 1 and the Suin-Bundang Line both use Exits 2 or 3 for this route.

The venue’s English transportation guide estimates about 35 minutes from Seoul Station to Suwon Station by express service. It also lists airport limousine routes to Suwon Station from Incheon International Airport and Gimpo Airport.

For a visitor staying in Seoul, the train can be simpler than dealing with weekend parking. If you are bringing a dog, also check the pet and carrier rules for the specific rail or transit service you plan to use, because those rules are separate from the pet-fair admission policy.

What to Check Before You Go This Weekend

K-PET Fair Suwon 2026 runs through Sunday, September 13. If you are making a last-minute visit, focus on the things that can actually affect your day: your admission category, the correct entrance on the floor plan, the booths you want to visit, your dog’s walking or carrier setup, and whether parking makes sense for the amount you expect to buy.

For U.S. and other foreign visitors, the free-admission category is the most important detail to check at the information desk before purchasing a regular adult ticket. If you are bringing a dog, pack the required leash and ID tag, and consider a stroller or carrier if your dog is small or uncomfortable in crowds.

Planning your route before you enter will usually save more time than trying to see every booth. With the floor plan, transportation choice, and admission rules settled in advance, you can spend the rest of the visit comparing products instead of figuring out logistics inside the hall.
