NexGard Spectra Pop-Up in Seongsu: Sept. 11–13 Guide

The NexGard Spectra Pop-Up is coming to Seongsu, Seoul, from September 11 through September 13, 2026. Created in collaboration with the Korean webtoon Geukhan Gyeonju (극한견주), the event combines dog parasite education with AR, an AI photo booth, a themed maze, DIY merchandise, and photo spots.
For dog owners visiting Seoul, there are two details to know before making plans. Dogs are not allowed inside the venue, and NexGard Spectra products will not be sold at the event. This is an interactive brand and educational experience rather than a pet-friendly shopping event.
NexGard Spectra Pop-Up Dates, Hours, and Location
The NexGard Spectra Pop-Up will be held at Seongsu Portal in Seongdong-gu, one of Seoul’s best-known areas for short-term brand events and pop-ups.
| Date | Opening Hours | Last Admission |
|---|---|---|
| Friday, Sept. 11 | 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. | 7:30 p.m. |
| Saturday, Sept. 12 | 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. | 7:30 p.m. |
| Sunday, Sept. 13 | 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. | 5:30 p.m. |
Venue: Seongsu Portal, 1F, 16 Yeonmujang 7-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
Sunday closes two hours earlier than Friday and Saturday, and admission ends 30 minutes before closing each day.
Because several activities are designed for visitors to complete inside the venue, arriving close to last admission may leave little time for the full experience. If you also want to participate in the stamp giveaway, an earlier visit gives you more time to complete the required activities.
Why Is a Dog Parasite Pop-Up Different?
Parasites are something dog owners hear about regularly, but the subject can feel technical when it is explained only through medication labels or veterinary terminology.
The NexGard Spectra Pop-Up takes a different approach. Visitors encounter ticks, fleas, ear mites, mange mites, roundworms, and heartworms through games and themed spaces instead of reading long medical explanations.
Some parasites live on or around the skin, while others affect dogs internally. Heartworm is especially different because mosquitoes transmit the infective larvae. After entering a dog’s body, the larvae continue developing over several months before adult heartworms establish in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels.
The pop-up does not replace veterinary guidance, but the interactive format can make the names and basic differences between parasites easier to remember.
Five Activities Inside the NexGard Spectra Pop-Up
There are five main experiences planned for the event, ranging from an AR scavenger hunt to a personalized keyring station.
Find the Hidden Parasites AR Experience
The first activity uses augmented reality.
Visitors scan a QR code at the venue and use a smartphone to search for parasites hidden throughout the space. The characters include ticks, fleas, mange mites, ear mites, roundworms, and heartworms.
Instead of presenting them as a list, the AR game turns the different parasite types into things visitors actively search for.
A charged phone will be useful because the activity relies on QR scanning and a mobile device.
DOG TYPE STUDIO AI Photo Booth
DOG TYPE STUDIO asks, “What kind of dog do you look like?”
After taking a photo, the AI booth creates an image inspired by a dog breed that resembles you. The finished image can be printed at the venue or downloaded to your phone using a QR code.
For visitors who enjoy Korean pop-up photo booths, this is one of the more personalized parts of the event because you leave with an image created specifically from your photo.
Walk Through a Parasite-Themed Maze
Another section turns parasite education into a physical maze.
The route includes three themed areas: a tick swamp, an ear mite cave, and a heartworm room. Visitors move through the spaces in sequence and encounter visual elements representing the characteristics of each parasite.
The maze makes the NexGard Spectra Pop-Up feel more like an interactive exhibit than a conventional promotional booth. It also gives visitors several distinct environments rather than concentrating the entire experience around one display.
Make Your Own Keyring
At the NEXGARD Keyring Bar, visitors can create one customized keyring using the available decorative pieces.
To participate, you need to either follow the official NexGard Korea Instagram account or add the brand’s Kakao channel and show the confirmation at the event.
Each visitor can make one item.
If you are already planning to participate, having your phone ready before reaching the station should make the process quicker.
Visit the Brand Wall and Photo Area
The NEXGARD Brand Wall includes information about the brand, a dog-themed photo wall, actual product displays, and a mailbox event.
The products at this section are for display. There will be no on-site NexGard Spectra sales.
That distinction is worth remembering if you use the medication and were hoping to purchase it during the event.
How the Stamp Giveaway Works
The NexGard Spectra Pop-Up also has an event for visitors who complete several activities.
You first need to finish three pop-up experiences and collect three stamps.
After that, take a photo from the event and upload it to your Instagram Story or feed while tagging @nexgardkorea__. Show the uploaded post to a staff member to receive a gift while supplies last.
The announced prizes are either an all-weather umbrella or a pet bowl.
Only 100 giveaway items are available per day, and the event organizer notes that prizes may run out early or change depending on conditions at the venue.
If receiving a gift matters to you, completing the three required activities before spending a long time at the photo zones may be the better order.
Can You Bring Your Dog?
No. Dogs cannot enter the NexGard Spectra Pop-Up.
This is probably the easiest detail for a dog owner to overlook because virtually everything about the event—from the parasite theme to the pet bowl giveaway—is related to dogs.
However, it is not a pet-friendly pop-up where you can walk through the activities with your dog.
If you are planning an entire day in Seongsu with your dog, you will need to arrange the pop-up portion separately rather than assuming your dog can accompany you inside.
What U.S. Dog Owners Should Know About the Product Name
American visitors may recognize the NexGard name, but product names and formulations are not identical in every country.
NexGard Spectra is a combination parasite preventive sold in markets outside the United States, while the NexGard products available under U.S. approval have their own ingredients, indications, and labeling.
That matters when an American dog owner sees a Korean NexGard Spectra Pop-Up and then searches for the medication at home. Similar branding does not mean the products should be treated as interchangeable.
If you want the medication side explained specifically from a U.S. perspective, I have a separate guide covering the differences between NexGard Spectra and the NexGard products U.S. dog owners are more likely to encounter, including ingredients, parasite coverage, and why the exact product name matters.
That distinction is separate from the Seoul event itself. The pop-up is designed around the Korean NexGard Spectra brand and does not sell medication on-site.
Who Will Enjoy This Seongsu Pop-Up Most?
The NexGard Spectra Pop-Up is likely to appeal to several types of visitors.
Dog owners may enjoy seeing a familiar health topic presented through interactive activities instead of traditional educational materials. Future dog owners can also use the experience as an introduction to parasite names they are likely to hear once they begin routine preventive care.
Fans of Geukhan Gyeonju have another reason to visit. The collaboration incorporates Somi and other recognizable visual elements from the webtoon into the physical pop-up space.
It also works well for people who are already visiting Seongsu for cafés, shopping, or other limited-time events. The five activities give you more to do than a single photo wall without requiring you to dedicate an entire day to one venue.
Is the NexGard Spectra Pop-Up Worth Visiting?
If you will be in Seoul between September 11 and 13 and want something dog-related to add to a Seongsu itinerary, the NexGard Spectra Pop-Up offers a combination that is unusual for a pet event: parasite education, AR, an AI photo booth, a maze, DIY merchandise, and a webtoon collaboration in one space.
The biggest limitations are clear. You cannot bring your dog, you cannot buy NexGard Spectra at the venue, and the daily giveaway can run out.
For a smoother visit, charge your phone before arriving, leave enough time before last admission, and complete three stamp-eligible activities early if you want to participate in the giveaway.
The NexGard Spectra Pop-Up is less about shopping for dog products and more about experiencing a normally technical pet-health topic in a playful format. For dog owners, future dog owners, and Geukhan Gyeonju fans already heading to Seongsu, that is the strongest reason to add it to the weekend.
