2026 KIWO Exotic Animal EXPO: Tickets, Schedule, Parking

The 2026 KIWO Exotic Animal EXPO with Creators brought reptiles, mammals, birds, ornamental fish, marine animals, and Korean content creators together at Songdo ConvensiA in Incheon, South Korea. The event was held on August 1 and 2, 2026, across Halls 1, 2, and 3.

For visitors planning around specific creator appearances, the biggest decision was which day to attend. Ticket prices also differed significantly between advance purchase and on-site admission, while paid activities and parking added to the total cost.

2026 KIWO Exotic Animal EXPO Dates and Venue

The expo ran for two days:

The official English event name was KIWO Exotic Animal EXPO with Creators, abbreviated as KIWO EAE. The exhibition included reptiles, amphibians, birds, ornamental fish, mammals, exotic animals, related products, and creator events.

Advance Tickets Were Much Cheaper Than Door Admission

Advance tickets were available through the KIWO app through July 31, 2026.

The advance price was 11,000 Korean won (KRW) per person, compared with 16,000 KRW at the venue. That made advance booking 5,000 KRW cheaper for each paid visitor.

Visitors younger than 48 months could enter free, along with eligible visitors with disabilities and national merit recipients when the required documentation was presented.

For families, the ticket price was only one part of the budget. Several hands-on programs charged separate participation fees.

Creator Schedules Could Determine Which Day to Visit

A major feature of the expo was its creator program. Korean animal creators 정브르 and 헌터퐝 (Hunter Fwang) were the main hosts, with their joint talk show scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on both days.

Other appearances changed by day.

Pre-event schedules were subject to change, so visitors interested in one specific creator needed to check the final event announcement rather than assume every creator would appear on both days. Promotional materials also presented photo opportunities as organized event activities, not unlimited personal meet-and-greets.

Animals Extended Far Beyond Reptiles

Despite the “exotic animal” focus, this was not simply a reptile show. Promotional materials highlighted a much broader mix of animals.

Planned exhibits included Galloway cattle, black-nosed sheep, baby ferrets, sungazer lizards, sailfin lizards, parrots, clownfish, blue tangs, giant trevally, sea angels, mantis shrimp, and horseshoe crabs.

The presence of animals such as Galloway cattle and sea angels made the event noticeably different from a reptile-only expo. Official promotional posts specifically highlighted animals including Galloway cattle and sea angels among the unusual species visitors could see.

Family Activities Required a Separate Budget

The event also included hands-on activities aimed at children and families.

Planned programs included figure painting, slime making, catching medaka fish and crabs, grasshopper activities, terrarium making, hermit crab searches, horseshoe crab experiences, and doctor fish interactions. Promotional posts also mentioned medaka, hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs, doctor fish, and slime activities.

These programs were offered separately from general admission, so families interested in multiple activities needed to plan for additional spending after entering the expo.

Songdo ConvensiA Parking Costs

Songdo ConvensiA has 1,285 parking spaces across its above-ground and underground parking areas.

For passenger cars, vans, and small cargo vehicles, regular parking cost 1,500 KRW for the first 30 minutes, with a 24,000 KRW full-day rate. Eligible vehicles, including vehicles for people with disabilities, national merit recipients, compact cars, and qualifying low-emission vehicles, received a 50% discount.

Drivers also needed to avoid entering the D Gate loading area by mistake. Songdo ConvensiA charges a separate loading-zone rate there, which is higher than the normal passenger-vehicle parking rate.

For example, one visitor using an advance ticket and full-day regular parking would have paid 35,000 KRW before food or activity fees. Two advance-ticket holders sharing one car would have paid 46,000 KRW before those extras.

For an event spread across three exhibition halls, arriving well before a must-see creator program was the safer plan. Parking, entry lines, exhibits, and paid activities all required additional time beyond the stage schedule.
