However, the large size can block your view on stairs, and it should not automatically be treated as a crash-protective dog car seat.

Dog and Testing Environment

I used the size L carrier with Louie, a slim 6.6-pound Yorkshire Terrier. He likes looking forward while traveling, but he also settles more easily when I can touch him or make eye contact with him.
